We are building four tiny homes for survivors of the 2020 Almeda Fire in Southern Oregon. Our founder Alyssa and volunteers have been "commuting" to Oregon on weekends to finish these homes. We are grateful for several terrific volunteer groups who have come out to assist in this effort.

We are nearly ready to begin our first foundation-built tiny home directly on a survivor's land. This county-approved permanent structure will offer long-term housing for a Camp Fire surivor. We hope this pilot project will lead to more volunteer-built Title 25 Limited Density Owner Built Rural Dwellings in burn scars in our area.

Through a partnership with Big Skills, Tiny Homes we continue to build tiny homes for fire survivors. Big Skills Tiny Homes provides self-discovery, mentoring, and skill development to students interested in the trades. Through the process of building a tiny home from scratch to completion, students are exposed to a variety of trade disciplines and are empowered to identify their future career path.
